Web Recall Browser Connection

Web Recall Browser Connection connects your browser bookmarks to the Web Recall app on the same Mac. It processes bookmark titles, URLs, folder structure, and browser node and Profile identifiers needed to identify bookmark records and the connected browser profile.

All bookmark data is processed locally on your device. The browser extension communicates only with the Web Recall app on the same Mac through the loopback address 127.0.0.1. Bookmark data is not uploaded to Web Recall servers.

Web Recall Browser Connection does not read your browsing history, open tabs, webpage contents, or passwords.

Bookmark data is used only to provide the connection, review, organization, and recovery features that you request. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or provide it to third parties.

The extension stores locally only its connection identity, public key, and the minimum recovery journal needed to reconnect and safely recover an interrupted bookmark operation. When you uninstall the extension, Chrome removes the extension's local storage.
